20. Max-area rectangle in a parabola

Book. Inscribe PBB′P′PBB'P' in y2=4pxy^{2}=4px cut by x=ax=a. With corner (x,y)(x,y), A=2y(a−x)=2ay−y3/(2p)A=2y(a-x)=2ay-y^{3}/(2p), so A′=2a−3y2/(2p)=0A'=2a-3y^{2}/(2p)=0 gives y=4ap/3y=\sqrt{4ap/3}.
